Farm Shop Kent
Haguelands Kent Farm Shop was the brainchild of Anne Clifton-Holt. She wanted to put something back into the community and showcase the best local produce Kent has to offer - as well as to tempt customers with our home grown fruit and vegetables.
Upon entering the shop, you will be met by the inviting smell of freshly baked bread and cakes, before being delighted by our wide variety of unusual jams and preserves. We also offer a mouth-watering array of high quality fresh fruit and vegetables - many of which are grown here on the farm. The Farm Shop is spacious and relaxing - you'll be able to take your time wandering around and sample the different foods and sumptuous local produce.
With supermarkets importing so much of their food, Anne, like so many other people, has become more aware of reducing food mileage, avoiding excessive packaging and supporting local farming businesses by going back to a more traditional way
of food shopping. This is the main aim of Haguelands Kent Farm Shop and, with the help of our friendly staff, you can learn more about produce in Kent, as well as get some hot tips for new recipes!
As well as our delicious range of locally grown and produced foodstuffs, we also provide a selection of meats sourced from Kentish farmyards. The majority of our products can be packed into a luxury hamper, too – perfect for those special occasions.
Haguelands Kent Farm Shop is located just outside Dymchurch (Kent) in a rural setting with plenty of parking space for cars and coaches. If you decide to pay us a visit, you'll also find a picturesque garden area, perfect for relaxing in during those delightful summer days.
Kent Produce
With a view to creating a delightful farm experience, Haguelands Kent Farm Shop plans to increase the amount and variety of its local produce, including our delicious home grown strawberries and raspberries.
In addition, the annual Maize Maze, opening on 10th of July, makes Haguelands Village the perfect family outing. Children will welcome the chance to muck about in the Fun Yard, pet the Alpacas and visit the Giant Bunnies.
Romney Marsh Fish Market
Next to the Farm Shop is the Romney Marsh Fish Market, where there's always a large selection of fresh seafood and local fish available.
The market runs a home delivery service and also delivers seafood to local pubs and restaurants. Stock availability is never a problem - if they don’t have it, simply ask and they will get it in the next day.
